How we vet contractors

High-quality, vetted, experienced local contractors

We only use the word “vetted” for checks we actually do. Before we send any request to a contractor partner, we verify:

1. Licensed and insured. Licensed where a license is required, and insured, with a current certificate of insurance on file with us.
2. Experienced. At least 2 years in business.
3. Well reviewed. Good reviews on Google or the BBB.
4. Clean record. No unresolved complaints.

What we don't do

• We don't perform the work, and we don't guarantee any contractor's work, pricing, schedule or warranty.
• Any contract is between you and the contractor. Get the scope, price and warranty in writing before work starts.
• Our checks are a starting point, not a substitute for your own judgment — ask for references and proof of insurance yourself too.
